Palmetto had a smoking deal a couple weeks back and I passed on it.  Now with the gear up and go rebate active, I'd like to get either a Mod2 XD45 or a XDm45 if I can.  Springfield XD resale drops like a lead balloon though so I am only willing to pay rock bottom prices to acquire one in the first place.  Most places seem to be OOS on these though now.  Anyone know of anyplace online I could be overlooking?  GunBuyer seems to be the lowest with one at $399 shipped so far.  HELP ME!!!

Well, I just ended up ordering a new one from GunBuyer.com for $399 shipped.  They have a few of the 45 mod 2's "holiday special" package with 3 13rd mags instead of 2 and a carrying case.  Combine that with the "gear up and go" rebate and I'll have 6 13rd mags and two cases (hoping to sell one on eBay to someone).  I ended up going with this over the $399 XDm deal at Palmetto due to the fact I prefer the mod 2 grip and since this will strictly be a range blaster or home defense tool, having the short 2 finger grip of the XDm compact was a compromise.  Not to mention, having two different size mags with the GUAG rebate leaves it up to Springfield as to what mags they'd even send me.  I also prefer a fiber optic front solid rear like the Mod2 as opposed to the three dot steel that the Palmetto XDm has.

Great pistols, and with he current SA promotion, fantastic buy.

Took less than 2 weeks for me to get my SA goodies, but i've heard it taking even less time for some.
