How many different 2nd and 3rd gen would the parts be usable in?

The magazines and complete slide probably will fit the 6904/6906.    You can probably look at Numrich arms or Brownell’s online schematics and get an idea of the common parts between models.

Just trying to have spare parts on hand for the herd.
I have a 669 and a 6906, so that's good to know.
