Can anyone confirm for me if 1911 mags will work in the CW45 and other khar 45 striker models?

Current info has it that SOME brands of 1911 magazines can be slightly altered to fit the Kahr.
This seems to require filing and alterations to the feed lips.
Some brands will not work because of issues with the magazine catch not being able to engage.

Personally, the only time I'd trust a non-Kahr factory magazine would be for informal practice, NEVER for CCW use.

Wilson mags worked in mine.

I have used a few Chip McCormick 10 round mags in my CW 45. Runs fine but does not lock open on the last tound. I think if you were to replace the followers in those mags with Kahr followers that might change...................
