Looking for some 17 round 9mm M&P mags. Are the ProMags any good? Anyone have any links to good prices?

OE is pretty much the only way to go. $27 at Smokin Guns

I've never used a single ProMag that was good. I would spend the extra on the OEM ones.

Keep checking Aimsurplus.com.  They get police trade-ins that are usually $17.99 or less.  I've bought several and they generally look really good and function 100%.

This and Natchess. I picked up 10 or so a few years ago when they were aroudn 11.99 or 13.99. I should have picked up 20+.
I think ACT might make M&P mags. They seem to get good reviews for the 320 mags. Check out Greg Cote LLC for prices. Most of the time hes got the best.

Thanks all. Picked up a few from Smokin Gun for $27. Never bought from them previously so hopefully there are good to go.

Now that's funny.  And I absolutely agree.  I know a guy who buys Promags and he's always complaining about his pistols not feeding correctly.  No amount of reminding him not to buy more seems to work.

I've heard good things about the ACT mags.  Link to a website that sells ACT mags for M&Ps.  Out of stock right now but you can see they get great reviews.

Greg Cote has the ACT Mags in stock, well they did, for half the price of factory mags. ACT Mags and MEC-GAR are the only mags to get, as they are usually the manufacturers who make the factory mags for most brands. I bought 4 mags from him last week for mine.

I get mine from AIM Surplus when they have trade ins for $14.99/each

Sure, a little finish wear on some, but they are perfect for the range and stacking deep.

I have never, ever had a Promag that worked correctly.  I hope you have better luck but to date, my Promag experience has been 100% crap.  My experience is that I would get no more than 10 rounds to fire consecutively from any Promag.

I am a sucker.
I thought not everything pro mag makes can be junk right?
Wrong I purchased 1 just to try.
Yeah it's junk.
When I bought my 2.0 I had 4 oem mags left over from the lemon 1.0 that I got rid of.
So that's what I did for mags.

Built a ak clone in 556 back in the odumboears days and decided to try pro mag 556 ak mags.
One of those broke apon the first insertion of the mag.
Took them 6 months to get me a new one.

Freinds, don't waste your money on those clowns.

Member in the EE selling OEM mags, says they're new but not in wrap, $24/each plus shipping. Just bought 4, $104 including postage.

I see a bunch of good reviews on the Act mag, but I bought a few when they first came out and they were not 100% reliable.  Not awful, but I would spend the extra money for OEM, even just for range mags.
