hey now, my GAP cost me 300 bucks, and it came with 300 rounds of ammo.
so... almost free. i do have a 40S&W though.. |

Just picked up a brand new XD-45 Service model today. Black on black of course. I have been wanting a new non 1911 45acp for some time. I have several Glocks but I don't like the fell of the 21. The XD fits my hand much better than the Glock. I can't wait to put some ammo down range with it. I also have a Springer Loaded 1911 I love.

My first XD was a 45, second was a 40. The 40 is getting more use lately. I'll always prefer a 1911 for 45 acp.

I have both a 9 and also a .40sc. I love them both! They both put rounds down range accurately every time I squezze the trigger.

I've got a bi-tone .45 tactical, and a XDm in 9mm. 45 for duty, 9mm for the range/competition. I love these things!

I have two 40's a SC and Tactical. Notice the 40 cal is the least popular caliber; I'd guess it is because the 40 cal has less capacity than other 40's of the same size. If it wasn't for the grip safety and fact the XD feels like an extension of my arm, I prbably would have went with the SW MP. I bought the SC figuring 12 rounds was good for a compact 40 and end-up adding the XD Tac (as opposed to the MP) for logistical reasons. Added +3 mag extentions, that don't fall off, to bring it up to "standard" capacity. Man, these handguns shoot nice.
Struggling over whether will add a 9mm Service or SC, or a Glock 19, or a MP9...desicions. |

I just took the XD plunge this morning, I bought a Essentials in 9MM with the 4" barrel, for $399 it was very hard to pass up, I thought when I first seen it in a sales flyer that they had to have cut corners with the gun, or only offer 1 mag...something to get the price in at 399, when the salesman said 2 mags, case, lock, brush, I pretty much said lets start the paperwork.
