I think it looks great. Care to share what you did with those of us who are summoning our own courage?

Thanks for details. Very helpful. I like the fine texture you've accomplished.

I am waiting for a new holster for my G36 which I'll carry while I take my G19 out of action. Like you, I am sending my slide out (ATEI) for RMR and serrations. That I can't do, but I've been preparing for tackling some frame work. There are some awesome folks out there doing stunning work, but I really want to give it a go, myself.

Looks great!

I still haven't tried to do one myself, but this is tempting...

That turned out nicely! I'm not a fan of "microdot" because it takes forever and holds gunk, but it works well enough.

Play around some on your mag loader and learn to "tip drag."

You can sand it with some 800 or 1,000 grit to knock it down a bit, if desired.

Get some 320-2,000 grit sandpaper and polish your undercut too!

Thanks. I was just looking at the undercut and was trying to think of a way to clean it up a little. You answered my question before I had a chance to ask..

No problem. If you go all the way up through the grits, wet sanding from 1,000 on, and finish up with a little Dremel polishing, it will look like the above.

If you just want to smooth it out and don't care about a pretty polish, just go to 1,000. Looks like this:

Now that i've seen the new glock's i'm definitely going to just remove finger groves and stipple my own.

Its really not as "hard" as one thinks. Its more about just getting the nerve up to start.

You motivated me to undercut one of mine this am..... I don't have a woodburner so the stippling has to wait.

The undercut virtually~ solved my problem with the finger grooves.
