My very first handgun was a Sig 226. Great gun and wished I would have kept it. Now I carry a Glock 34 and think it's by far the best 9mm to grace my holster!

Dingdingdingdingding...

Style, grace, good handling, easy pointing, and 13 round magazines.  Plus the BHP can take some abuse!

As Tigger might say "It's redicurous that it's not in the POLL!"

It's funny, you (Bear_B) list the XD as one of your choices in your post, but it ain't in the poll selection.

Anywho, it gets my vote.

The 17 round KRD's work perfectly in both my FN-HP and my FEG PJK-9HP, for some reason the 15 round KRD's need to be worked in, then they are fine.

Evrything else is pretty far down the list.

CZ-75, best 9mm ever, though I would take my Inglis Hi-Power mark1 as a close second

I did a write vote for the HP on the first page, CZ 75 would also be my second choice, sp other than which comes in 1st or 2nd, the 3 of us prefer 2 battle proven pistols that feel better in the hand that any other Hi-Cap 9mm made, are fantastically accurate, and built like art. and yet niether of these choices was included on the poll.... what's wrong with kids these days?

For me, I'll take the Glock 17.

But I would have no problem with the Sig-Sauer P226 and Ruger P89. I've had great success with all 3 of those pistols.

Another vote for the sig 210.  I love my USP9, and my Beretta Brigadier M92 was OK.  But I've got to give credit where credit is due.  The 210 is a fine match grade weapon, but it was a reliable military weapon for a lot of years before that.  Now...  If only I could put together the cash....  Anyone wanna buy a kidney?

I have 9 mm glocks, which are very good guns, but by far the nicest, most accurate 9 mm I own is a P7M8. Excellent trigger, excellent accuracy, fits my hand perfectly, shoots and ejects anything you put through it.....jimmyp

So what's wrong with the 92? It is blowback, making it easier to suppress, it has the tightest slide to rail fit I have ever witnessed, and is more accurate than I could ever be. The only problems I could see are the trigger pull, which can be fixed for ~$50, and the magazines are expensive for now, but so are the glocks, all I have to saay about those plastic wands(the magazines not the pistols) is damn .

Glock mags are expensive?  I get them for 14$ all day long for my G19!

Not that I think there is anything wrong with the 92, but comparing a Glock to a 92 is a bit of an apples and oranges deal.

One has a da/sa trigger, while the other has a consistant trigger... one is plastic, the other is not... one has external safety, the other does not.  One has external hammer, the other does not.

Two completely seperate types of platforms...

There is a reason that most military units around the world have chosen the Beretta 92. Hi-Power would be a close second.

It's a 9x18mm Makarov (or a 9x17mm AKA .380) that Makarov's are chambered in.

SIG was actually the lowest bid.

Another vote for the 92FS. Relaibility, function, accuracy and style in one package. And too complicated for a zombie.
