Just put a LW "3.5#" connector in my 19 - and no, it didn't take the trigger down to 3.5lbs. It did improve the smoothness and weight of the trigger without scaring the shit out of me by making my trigger binary like the Ghost Edge did.
The LW feels pretty good with that OP TAC trigger |

Can you elaborate in that. I am about to add a 3.5 connector and am curious as to your scenario. View Quote I immediately cleared the gun and had the instructor check it. It did the same thing to him. I managed to finish my class out as the shooting being done was slower and more deliberate, but afterward I went straight home and swapped the connector back over to the factory original connector. Test fired next day, no issue. I purchased the Lone Wolf connector (this guy) and ran about 250 rounds through the gun with no issues. Trigger pull is slightly lighter and smoother, all safeties appear to be intact. |

Triji's, Ext slide & mag release! That's all ANY of them have EVER gotten!

I put night sights on all my Glocks, I put the Lone Wolf Trigger packs on all my Glocks and I put Sprinco spring and guild rods on most of my Glocks, on the G26 and G27 I put Wolf Springs Guide rod and spring, I also put Plugs on all my Glocks and I replace the slide plate on all my Glocks.

Nothing. A stock gun is the best thing to shoot someone with, if you gotta go to court. A lawyer will argue that by modifying your pistol, you intended or wanted to kill someone by making your gun "more deadly", or "more murdery". My .02. I'm not a lawyer. View Quote |

Trijicon HD on my 20
Stock sights on my Larry Vickers 17 (tritrium front) XS Big Dot Tritrium on my 23RTF Will be putting Trijicon suppressor-height NS on my 40 when I decide on the MRDS I want to use. Grip plugs on each one That's all they really need. Everything else is un-needed extras AFAIC. |

Admittedly, I have not done much research on the topic (my apologies). But I just read this article about it. Decent read if you got the time. https://armedcitizensnetwork.org/gun-modifications View Quote https://blog.uslawshield.com/legal-risks-of-modifying-your-trigger-pull/ There was also CNLive episode where they interviewed another US Law Shield attorney and she said something to the effect that they will file motions to suppress non-relevant evidence (because mods have no bearing on the self defense justification). |

I used to just change to night sights, but after having a longslide glock with the extended slide lock and take down, I now put those on all of them. I don't like the extended mag release. It makes bad things happen at the worst times. The smooth butt plug keeps the hole filled. Even Glocks like to be happy. I will add that as my eyes get older than fuck, I am thinking that fiber optic sight would be much more useful than night sights. When I finally try a set, that is gonna be an expensive day. why is everybody upgrading Glocks, aren't they all "Perfection" right out of the box?
Just kidding, I dot rid of all mine and bought a Les Baer. Why try and make a plastic trigger feel like a 1911 trigger when I can just buy one of those and be done with it? |

Not even sanding down some of the sharp plastic flashing? After drawing blood the first two times I fired my Glock 17, I got tired of that then went to work with some high grit sandpaper.z View Quote |

Yup yup - before I got my OP trigger, I bought and installed a Ghost Edge connector in my gen 3 G19 (properly - double checked, etc). Took it to a class before I got a chance to test fire it and, lo and behold, I found that the trigger was essentially binary. With the Edge connector installed, the gun fired at the trigger pull and the release. The only way it would not fire on the release is that if I performed a full trigger squeeze with follow through and released the trigger very quickly and precisely. Same issue as this guy had: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=https://youtu.be/rThRDLVzrkk I immediately cleared the gun and had the instructor check it. It did the same thing to him. Got a G27 that still sees some use. It's got a grip plug, grip wrap, ghost connector and +1 mag extensions.

Usually remove grooves and toss in a - connector and sights.
After using 10-8, ameriglo, and trijicon sights over the years on many glocks I've come to like a rather simple setup. Oem front night sight and oem steel rear. For some reason I've gotten really fast with them and they sit low on the gun. Ymmv |

Anyone a ever had an issue with a holster popping your extended mag release? I EDC a G20 Gen4 in a IWB Aliengear Cloak 3.0

If there's not a ton of clearance there, or it's not cut away, or the holster is loose enough the gun can be pushed too far into it, the mag release can be actuated
|
|
First thing I do is a detailed cleaning starting with the Magazines. I take them apart and with a small stone smooth the burrs from mag were the witness holes are on the inside were the follower rides.
Haven't found a magazine yet that has no burrs in it. All metal parts are hand polished with Mothers mag polish including the sticker, metal side of the extractor assembly and springs. Trigger and safety get sanded for better fit and last but not least, night sights. Never had a Glock the failed to work. I put about 200 rounds of self defense ammo though them before they get a holster. |

Glock 19 Gen3
Glock 3.5lb Connector NY Trigger Spring Glock 17 Trigger Vickers Mag Release & Extened Slide Stop Trijicon HD'S Inforce APLc Attached File I've been debating getting a grip reduction. I really want the Trigger guard undercut, backstrap reduced, and wouldn't mind not having the finger grooves. |

I'm just echoing what some others have said, but I keep it simple with factory night sights, Vickers / TD extended slide stop and mag release, and a light (I have an old Surefire X200 that's still kicking and a TLR-1 HL). The G43 has factory NS, a Vickers mag release, and a TLR-6. When possible (e.g. G19), I swap out the serrated trigger for the smooth version. I'm not fancy when it comes to aftermarket parts. Glocks are combat pistols in my view, so I keep them pretty basic. I may have to look at a MOS down the road though - interested in checking that capability out, but it probably won't be on a carry gun for a while.

I fuck with my guns.
G19 #1: - finger bumps removed with double undercut and a medium backstrap - I have big hands, this allows me to get high on the gun and allows me to keep recoil as low as possible - Raven Freya - Gives my pinky a little lip to sit on, my reloads are faster, and doesn't affect concealment - Overwatch Precision Tac Trigger w/np3 plated minus connector from OP - Stock Glock trigger is ok, but I prefer to rock with OP. All safeties in tact, much shorter pretravel and a shorter reset. No uncomfortable trigger dingus like stock glock - Leupold Deltapoint Pro w/dawsons - Red dots are a game changer. Speed is no different, accuracy and field of view are unmatched in comparison to irons This is all carried in a phlster classic glock holster with the tuck strut and a handheld light in the pocket G19 #2 (Roland Special) - Finger bumps and double undercut w/ medium beavertail - OP Tac w/np3 minus connector - Raven Freya - RMR06 type 2 with Ameriglo irons - Cut done by CNC holsters, also have front and top serrations -KKM precision Barrel and comp - Surefire X300Ua All carried in a Raven OWB, Safariland ALS, and a CNC Keroman V2 I have specific reasons for each modification that I can articulate in court should I ever use my weapon in defense. The lawyer I have on retainer will move to suppress any petty nonsense should it come to that point, however. My Duty G22: - Surefire X300Ub - Meprolights that will be swapped for OP Have Blue sights when they're released Carried in a safariland, and that's all the department will let me do to it |
