With 10+ options?

Looks like V1 is the most popular.

I bet V1 is the most popular only because that's how most of them come stock.

V1 in my USP-9

My USP tactical .40 was a V1, but I sent it to HK and had them do the LEM install. Now it's a nice light DAO (double action only) with no safety/decocker.

How much did the LEM conversion cost?

V1 in all my USP's past and present.  When I ordered my USP Tac, I made sure it would be V1.

V2 for me as a lefty.

I also think that V1 is the most common since it works for those wanting cocked and locked.  Other than a few who have problems because they do that thumb over the safety thing, and keep decoking theirs.

USPF .45 V1

I'm thinking about changing it to a V3, but with the stuff I've been reading, I might keep it.

V1 with ambi-control lever on both my USPc and Tac.

Changing out the detents, when they arrive, to variant 3/4 with ambi-control lever.

Ok clarity check for me.  I'm planning on geting a USP Compact .45 in the next month or so.  V1 and V9 are esentially the same, V9 has NO decocker, just fire/safe.

What is LEM????

USPc .40 in V1.

Still getting used to the trigger pull.  Only have 400rds through it.

That's a pretty big difference IMO, but yeah, that's the difference.

What is LEM????

LEM is a double action only trigger, except that you have a pre-cocked striker so it isn't as heavy as a "real" double action pull.  Similar concept to the glock being partially pre-cocked.

With the LEM, there is a pre-cocked striker and an external hammer that rests down.  You pull the trigger to make the hammer do its thing.  If you do it on an empty chamber or a bad round, your next trigger pull (assuming you don't tap/rack/bang) will be a "real" double action pull (read: much heavier.)

It's a cool idea, but I just didn't like it and sold my LEM P2k.

Both my 9mm and .45 (both full size) are v1's.

I want the same trigger pull all the time so I have a V7 in my USP.  I just got a P2K with the LEM and I love it.  I'm going to have the USP converted.

I HAD:

USPc 40sw V1
USPc 357sig V1
2nd USP Tactical 45 V1

I now have:

USPf 9mm V1
first USP Tactical 45 V1

For non-USP H&K

P2000 V3

conclusion: Like the DA/SA with decocker w/ safety on USP

My USP .40 started life as a V1, but I've had it configured as a V2 since about a week after I bought it.
