I've been wearing my 5 stitch wilderness tactical frequent flyer for some time now and while it's great, I'm interested in seeing what else is out there for similar price.
I only require that the buckle is minimal in size. Thanks |

Personally I find any regular belt no matter how stiff to be uncomfortable because everything just feels like it’s hanging off me instead of being part of me.
I wear this 90% of the time and it’s great because you put your gun &holster on and then cinch everything up snug against you instead of your belt being some degree of greater circumference than your body.
If you need dressier, look into click belts. |

I’ve tried a lot of belts from Wilderness 5-Stitch, Beltman leather, Grey Ghost scuba webbing cobra buckle, etc. The buckles either stick out too much or have to be removed to put the belt through the pant loops on those. With the leather, the adjustments just aren’t as precise, so it can be uncomfortable.
This is the one I found that I prefer over all the others Volund Gear Works. They’re super low profile since they don’t use a traditional buckle, easy to put on, comfortable since they can be cinched up as toght or loose as you like, and are stiff enough to hold a gun and spare mag securely. On top of that, I’ve never had a problem going through security ar the airport while wearing it since the only metal is the g-hook. I can’t say enough about how much I like their belts. For me, they’re perfect. The one on the top is the g-hook: Attached File |

IMO, nothing offers the perfect combo that Wilderness does: near infinite adjustability, low profile buckle, and a non-metallic buckle.

I wear a Hanks and a Magpul. My Hanks gets worn more as it's easier to get through the belt loops on some of my work slacks.

I have a box full of leather belts, nylon belts, elephant and shark skin belts that I have bought and worn over the last 30 years. The absolute best belt that I have ever worn and continue to this day is the 5.11 Apex Gunners Belt. Check it out and you will see why. I have worn it on duty, off duty, with casual clothes as well when wearing a suit and tie to go to court, funerals, and other formal occasions. It's very thin and yet super durable. Enough to comfortably and securely carry my full size, all steel 1911 pistol and two double magazine pouches. Right now (Black Friday Sale) LA Police Gear has it on sale (about $50) for 25% off with check out coupon code BF2018. Regular price is $59. Check it out:
Link to 5.11 Apex Gunner's Belt They also have a Black Friday Sale for the Maxpedition Liger Belt which looks and has very similar characteristics to the 5.11 Apex Gunners Belt. But, the Liger Belt is on sale for $43.71 and I believe that you can use the coupon code to knock that price down 25% more. Link to Liger Belt |

I keep coming back to my wilderness 5 stitch instructor. Been wanting to get the frequent flyer for a lighter buckle and one that wont set off metal detectors. I love the stiffness and adjustments. 4 years old and it's about a year out from need new velcro.
Tried a few leather, only complaint is I couldnt fine tune the belt size. I ate pizza and drank beer the night before so this hole is too tight and this hole is too loose. The shield carried fine but the G19 was just a bit bulkier and created hot spots from the extra tightness. Tried a cheap trayvax cinch. Not a gun belt but I tried it. Wouldn't recommend for anything bigger than a shield. Even that was a bit much. Wanted to try a Blue alpha EDC but the cobra buckle was a bit much for me. I just like the idea of adjustability with quick on and off of the cobra buckle. |

BravoConcealment has a belt out around that price that looks like an Aegis Ares Gear belt.

I've had two Wilderness Tactical original instructor belts and two leather belts from the Beltman.
Been thinking of trying one by Recycled Firefighter . I have one of his wallets and one of the day packs and his stuff is well made. |

Graith.
Greg Ellifritz turned me on to them. For AIWB they are perfect. Before that it was Ares. |

I've found nothing better than military web belts. It's so much lower profile than a leather gun belt and probably holds the gun tighter to my body imo. No need for custom holes (sizes), just pull as tight as is needed. Price is way better too.

Used a Volund for about 6 years and just switched to this Blade-Tech belt and I really like it. It looks nice so can be worn at work as well.

Although I'm not super impressed with it, I've been using the Magpul Tejas belt (polymer). I like it because it's an "in between" between a good gun belt (either reinforced leather, or double layer web) and a casual belt. It's only minimally stiffer (and not by much) than a good leather work belt. However, I like it because it's easy to weave into belt loops (as well as holster slots if yours has those), and it offers closers holes (finer tightness adjustments).
For holsters that I don't have to weave the belt though, I prefer to use my Vedder EDC cobra belt (basically the same as a Blue Alpha Gear EDC cobra). |

Got one of the Recycled Firefighter EDC belts on the way. They are on sale at $29 and free shipping. I received another 10% off from the "spin the wheel" that popped up while I was ordering.
https://recycledfirefighter.com/collections/every-day-carry-gear/products/edc-belt?variant=8412475523108 The Blue Alpha Gear Low Profile EDC is also a great option. I just want to try something without the noisy velcro that wears out over time. |

I've been wearing a Graith Specialist since a few instructor friends turned me on to them. I paired it with a Keepers Concealment Keeper (just got the holster in) and the adjustment plus holster is nothing short of magical. Carried a full size 92G Elite LTT all day today, even rocked kids to sleep. Very stable and comfortable combination.

the aker belt i got from amazon is actually my favorite EDC belt. My other belts are a wildernessbelt as well as a blackhawk CQC. The "aker" belt is by far the best, it actually surprised me.
