Always thought the LCP would make a great  .32Auto

If Ruger made one.... would you buy it ?

No, .380 is better than throwing a rock ... I'm not sure .32 is.

Not sure I see the point.  Overall package would be the same size.  You might gain one more round in the mag. Ballistics are a toss up.  Neither is a death ray.

Yes I would buy one.
Have usable sites on it as well.

I wouldn’t buy one in 32 acp...... but I did spend the cost of the gun in the 32 naa conversion barrel. The 32 naa has all ways been an intriguing round to me.

Yes.  I think .32 ACP would be a better fit in an LCP size pistol.

Thirty-two good enough for Bond, why not........
James Bond gets his Walther PPK
I've got a Manurhin PP in .32.

I wouldn't.  Going down to .32 has a significant drop in energy.

Ootherwise, I think a 9x18 Makarov conversion would be much more interesting.

No.

I already have a P32.

What I would buy is a P32 or LCP in 22LR.

No because I already have a P32 for the rare occasion that I pocket carry.

Put me in the NO crowd.

I have an FN 1910 that my uncle took off a German Officer .

The only 32acp that I care for.Attachment Attached File

ETA: This is a Ruger forum after all . Prefer 9mm in this size package.

Well, it depends on the rock, but .380 is my minimum for concealed carry. The smallest I actually own is a 9mm however.

You can kill people with big rocks. Seriously. It's in The Bible.

No. Just ordered an LCP, that's as small a handgun and caliber I would be comfortable using for self defense.

I don't think I would, but only because I already have the .380.  If I were starting from scratch, absolutely I'd get the .32.  The .380 has too much recoil.

As an owner of a P-32 I think it'd be a great idea. In a package that small I prefer the controllability of the .32acp round.
The p-32 is a featherweight option when loaded as well.

An LCP in .22lr would catch my eye as well, just not many small pocket rimfire pistols out there. My dad just picked up a Phoenix HP22 and while it was stiff & clunky out of the box it ran well and reminded me of my old Beretta Jefire (and ran more reliably too). A modern pocket polymer rimfire option would be a lot of fun.

absolutely

As it is I'd rather have a P32 over an LCP, but if it was P32 vs LCP-32 I'd go Ruger every time.

There are two Kel-Tec P32 pistols in my home. My wife and I both own one. Given that the LCP is a better pistol than the Kel-Tec P3AT I'd sure be tempted by a Ruger .32 acp.

FWIW, I prefer .32 acp in pocket-sized guns. The .32 pistols are much more shootable than similar sized .380 pistols. Neither is going to reliably expand bullets so there's not that much ballistic advantage to the .380. The .32 is easier to shoot accurately.

What I REALLY wish Ruger would make is a LCP sized gun in .22 LR.

I’d probably buy one. I had a Kel-Tec P32 some time ago and it was a good little pistol; I shouldn’t have let it go. With Ruger’s better overall build quality and consistency I would absolutely buy one over a P32.

Besides, I need an excuse to buy a really small .32 ACP to go with my very large (for a 32) one.

I can't see any reason to carry a 32 when you can get the same size gun in a 380.  The 380 packs a little more punch and ammo seems much easier to find as cheap or cheaper.

I have a p-32, love it. As mentioned above, I find it much more manageable than a .380 in the same size. Very pocketable. Even fully loaded it's featherweight which IMHO is the biggest appeal to me.

I also used to have a Taurus PT709 slim and while the trigger was horrible it was reliable & accurate. Enough that if the Taurus .32 was available I'd try one as well.

I have more than a few Rugers & Kel Tecs in various calibers and while overall Ruger quality is better I got rid of my LC9S due to multiple issues like the front sight working loose. No complaints on the P-32.

.32acp is probably the most under appreciated pistol cartridge out there right now. If you load with the real John M. Browning original  load which is called 7.65 Browning it's a pretty hot little round and is much lighter, higher capacity & way less recoil than .380.
I would  definitely like to upgrade to an LCP II in .32acp with the better trigger, build quality, slide lock back, and one more round (7) in the mag, as opposed to 6 in the  .380.

I looked at the Ruger compared to the P32. I went with P32 cuz it's a slimmer pocket pistol. Not by much but it is what it is.

I have a KT P32 and have carried it for years.  Its nice and compact but the 32ACP round is prone to rim-lock, and that's NG in a carry gun.  I didn't want to go into a tiny 380 because of recoil I experienced in a 380LCP.  The Remington RM380 came out, all metal and I bought one.  It has almost no recoil and feeds well.  Aside from being a bit heavier than my P32, it's an excellent replacement with superior ballistics.  There's really no reason to carry a 32ACP when there are better options in a similar sized gun.

Not at all, the RM380 being metal has a little more mass and the action seems to keep recoil low.  It shoots like the P32.  The P32 is a little lighter and thinner but rarely do I need something that concealable.

As j.w. has noted above, the European spec'd ammo is load substantially hotter than domestic Remington/Federal/CCI/Winchester fmj.
S+B, Fiocchi, Geco,  all of the Euro's take  .32acp round seriously, as they  were police issue not too long ago.

If I won it in a raffle, was given to me, or sold to me dirt cheap (sub $200) I would take it. Otherwise, my minimum carry calibers are 9mm and .38 SPL...
