from my expreience, never hold you breath when "down " also if you have a stuffy nose do NOT dive as you cant clear as you decend and you,ll destroy your sinuses. your mask will fill with blood !!!!!!!!!!!!! lastly, if there isnt a valid reason to do it dont..........its high risk just like sky diving. if GOD wanted you down there or up there he,d have given you gills and or wings. be advised.......
