Be careful with the beagles.

We had one.  Never really liked that dog.  She always wandered the neighborhood, not very obedient, dug holes under the fence to escape........not a good “pack” animal.......a hound.

Our GSD was the best dog ever.

Good luck.

Beagles are good hounds. They are vocal, stubborn and food motivated, but will also snuggle up with your family during the downtime’s and love you to no end. Not sure where to get a beagle pup in OK but wish you luck.

Had 3 Beagles growing up. They all ended up as roadkill. Super sweet and friendly, but once they get their nose on the ground they won't stop for anything. Every serious rabbit hunter I've known with Beagles kept them in a pen 99% of the time, and that's no way to have a dog.

I'll send you my address. You can jump over the fence from my yard and take the neighbors beagle.

The AKC site helped me find a bunch of border collies breeders when I was looking last year.

Page two has a place in OKC, page 5 a place in Durant.  There's a place in western AR.  A bunch in Texas, mostly south.

Do you hate all your stuff?

They like to chew. We had a mix growing up and he was a great dog.

Beagle is 6 months old and really a joy sometimes.  Very good with children and eager to greet family members when we are gone and come home.  He's really excited to see me when I come home from work. Likes to eat sticks though hope it won't hurt him. Family really has grown to love him.

That’s a good looking beagle. I’ve had beagles both bred and raised as well as rescue beagles for 40 years. They are great dogs. Just don’t let them get overweight. Get plenty of exercise and most of the bad habits will stop.
