Stayed up till 2am playing.
Wish I had all my stuff from the previous game especially the shield suit. So far I like it. Will play more this weekend.

i restarted on ps4 with melee tree. powerpyx said that if you platinum on ps4 then import you get the ps5 platinum automatically.
so far level 7 and about to hit the embassy quest up. i did find out that if you get the ps4 disc version you get a full download for ps5 that requires the ps4 disc to play hope to stay vague enough for no spoliers |

level 16 now with the warrior skills almost maxed out. 1 skill to have them all then 5 or 6 to get that last skill maxed out.
doing side quests to level up. so much stuff to do now. traps killed a level 27 monster. placed in its path and it killed itself. |

Battle focuses more on shooting components off to deal more damage and using elements to make taking down machines easier/more fun.
I like it. I'm at lvl 29 and still haven't done the 3 subordinate missions yet for Gaia and the 1st one is rated at lvl 17.

im playing ps4 version and not big problems so far. just completed a huge part of the end game. i think im only a couple quests from done now.
made level 30. not saying what the part is since i dont want to spoil it for anyone. |

Schorchers are the toughest machines to take down.
 At lvl40, going to San Francisco quest. Think I'll do all the side quests/jobs/hunting/melee and underwater and metal flowers first.

Finally knocked out those melee pits. Aggravating but once I learned to hold in certain buttons and constantly be transitioning to the next attack, it was doable.
I've got to do the poor mans Mario Kart races and the machine strike board game trophies for the platinum. Will have to wait until tomorrow. |

I used tear on a schorcher then brace shot then javelin his ass, then run away and recover stamina and do another brace shot.

Ugh, anyone notice the apex machines jumped up a lot in levels, going from 45 to 64 for slaughterspines.
Argh!!!! Need 2 fireclaw sac webbings and the ones I run into are apex lvl 60 and their blaze unit always blows up when I take one down!!!!
