I’ve never tried it. It’s at a price point where you can buy known quality and not get disappointed.

But, this winter I may pick up a bottle and get some bitters, oranges, and cherries.

too much green apple flavor  to drink straight, but when mixed, it's nice.

Looks like the addition of dried apples in the barrel during the aging process makes it "Alabama Style" as far as I can tell.

No, no it's not.

"Clyde May’s whiskey is the current iteration of a long string of whiskies formerly under the heading of Conecuh Ridge Whiskey, currently made in “Alabama Style,” distilled in Kentucky and bottled in Florida."

It's a sourced whiskey.  Hardly anything is done in Alabama proper.  Marketing B.S.  Not say it's a bad sip, just saying the label and the website is misleading unless you read the fine print.
