I believe what's going on is that the banner ad links to www.adcofirearms.com and ADCO doesn't have a wildcard cert for subdomains on their server.  So when you click the link you get an SSL error.  This isn't really an issue with the arfcom server, it's ADCO.  But since they're an advertiser maybe this could get routed to the right place.

Short version:  ADCO needs a wildcard SSL cert if they want links to www.adcofirearms.com to work, or the link in the banner ad needs to point to https://adcofirearms.com

SSL error:  https://www.adcofirearms.com

working link:  https://adcofirearms.com

Absolutely cannot believe this turned into a nothingburger before the "It's happening isn't it", "The sky is falling" and "Pop P-Mags" crew descended.
Oh, how far we've sank.
