Aside from this official horror: https://joebiden.com/gunsafety/, there are other things to consider.
May I strongly suggest getting your spare parts inventory in order? Most firearms are extremely reliable, but most of them are but one critical part away from being useless. What part/What firearm depends. DO take an inventory of your firearms as regards spare parts. Most often, but not universally, such spare parts are extractors and various springs. Some firearms have individual parts "Prone-To-Failure". In the event your firearm needs to be sent back to Mfr for "factory-fitted" spare parts, make the most of it. PLEASE listen. Buying spare parts is a trivial expense NOW, but might not be an option in the future. Got mine. Get yours. |

I have to wonder what the guys that bought 100 striped lowers plan to do.

The "Factory fitted" parts is exactly why I liquidated my XD collection years ago and converted to Glock (used to be a glock hater lol)
Most of my "spare parts" reside in other firearms. Redundancy is key. The whole 2 is 1, 1 is none philosophy. |

Yeah... not buying extra parts.... I’ll just grab a different rifle, or a different pistol. I’ve got a few to choose from.

Agree for time being; however, 3D printer go brrr. They can’t stop what’s coming - technology and materials advances will bring the small parts factory to your dining room table.

Iv been saying this for years.
The proposed ban specifically bans spare parts for banned weapons, or any parts that can be used to assemble a banned weapon. Best be getting prepared people. |
|
Was already in pretty good shape. Went to Rock River then over to Windham.
In real good shape now. Thanks for the reminder OP. |

We do know. Those that haven't figured it out should wake up.

I can rebuild 4 rifles and 2 shotguns and 1/2 dozen 1911's
besides 2 is one and one is none was my rule long before Thunder Ranch. too bad I don't have guns anymore as they all got sold off at a legal gunshow just before the election.. guess I'll just hold on to the parts.. |

Anybody know where to get good AR mag springs that might not gouge your eyes out for shipping & taxes?

Quoted: What tends to go down on a Glock 19? Serious question. View Quote @thorn653 Unless you have a high round count on it, it’s pretty resilient. That said, after taking the Glock 1-day armorers course, I have stocked up on slide and frame parts kits, but I have several Gen 3 G19’s. If you’re going with single parts, I’ve also done recoil springs, locking blocks (be careful which generation G19 you have as they are generation and can be intra-generation specific), firing pin springs, firing pin, extractor, extractor spring. If you want to keep it even more simple than that, then stick just with the springs: Recoil, extractor spring, firing pin spring, etc. |

Food and other things like medicine might be more important, than having enough parts to take care of a reinforced rifle squad.

I’ll just get spare parts for my COMBLOC stuff while on vacation in Europe and use my prison wallet to bring them home.

Parts won't wear out or break if they are buried in a ziplock..

That's like 1/4th my get rich in the Bipocalypse Civil War Revoboog plan. I've bought a bunch of dumb shit at low prices for quite a bit, just in case. You think the average tard is going to know what TAPCO shit is? You think Cletus or Tyrone is going to know that Century Arms is junk? Think about it. |

That's why I buy HK.
You pretty much can't find parts anyway... and when you can, you must accept an ass-raping to get them so you really aren't any worse off in a world where gun parts sales are banned. |

Also another reason to go quality over quantity.
1911 recoil springs or 870 magazine springs? Wilson. AR buffer springs? Geissele or Springco. Etc etc |

Since he hasn't, and won't, answer questions regarding his policies and plans, and the press won't ask any questions of substance, how can anyone know?
Whole thing is so fucked up |

If Biden wins and shuts off the Oil then food will become your primary concern very shortly.

SO's grandfather used to smuggle bibles into a commie country, I know what's coming.
I think the deep inventoried will soon find that money brought together in pro constitution groups would have been better spent but yawn, stack them cheap and deep to hide in the attic. |

OP is correct.
Additionally, you should have two of every firearm in the event that you suffer a catastrophic malfunction such as a defective round / squib that destroys your rifle, carbine or pistol when you fire the next subsequent cartridge. Seen it happen in the military. What if you are unable to tactically acquire a replacement weapon (to say nothing of ammo)? Springs wear out. Magazines wear out. Optics wear out. Small parts wear out. For you 10.3 in barrel weirdos, bolts wear out. Bear in mind, spares that are excess to your requirements can be bartered for other necessities. |
