The ignorance of basic internet security on here is retard level some times.
 It's 2021, you can be tracked down and your home address located by a motivated middle schooler (or he knows how to use his smart phone to hire someone in India or Russia to track you down for a $10 itunes card). You guys reuse screen names allover the internet  , leave a 10 or 20 year old record of ALL your posts/photos/videos (and their hidden info) lying around just waiting to be found and taken out of context. People have been fired or ruined over a single post.Use a VPN! Change your name. Don't reuse a screen name or password on multiple sites Don't post photos or videos- at least for a while- there seem to have been some recent security breaches related to them. Another simple tip: Ask your ISP for a new modem/router to change your home IP address and purge a lot of your internet history. |
