WH40k Astartes. Not just the armor, the genetic and surgical mods they have. And the whole "For the God-Emperor" vibe!

Clan MadCat...basically wearable armor and weapons system. But for regular infantry, MI wins the day.

Always been a fan of Heinlein's "Starship Troopers" MI power armor.
But I've got to give the win to Felix from John Steakley's "Armor" when it comes to the best. |

Not top of the food chain, but the Edge of Tomorrow jackets are pretty good & theoretically possible if battery tech advances sufficiently.

I liked the way Michael Z. Williams handled the subject in his Freehold series. No power armor, but 'super' soldiers.

MCRN Force Recon Goliath Mk III/IV (from The Expanse) is up there in the running-- comfortable and flexible, lots of power and plenty of firepower-- no nukes, but they've taken a HELL of a battering and kept its occupant alive--

Crysis Nanosuit is likely the best due to it not being bulky. Allows the user to still fit in nearly any vehicle. Even other power armor!

Crysis nanosuit. It's truly a suit, not a personal tank, leaving the user free to do all normal functions a person could do.
But most importantly, cloak mode. Invisibility is the king of all superpowers (for battle). |
