Dune shielded stillsuit
Spartan Mjolnir
Fallout T-51
Mobile Infantry Marauder
Astartes Terminator
Etc etc.

Whose armor and weapons are the best in the sci-fi genre? Which super soldier wins in a one to one fight?

Crysis Nanosuit?

InB4 Poll.

Sharknado hands down.

If plasma weapons were off the table, T-series power armour would dominate.

Mobile Infantry takes them all.  They have nukes.  The 30 second bombs ought to be good for a few laughs too.

The Spartan’s armor or the CASPer, or Combat Assault System, Personal, from the Four Horsemen Books.

Battletech/Mechwarrior Elemental armor and their huge, genetically engineered, warriors.

WH40k Astartes.  Not just the armor, the genetic and surgical mods they have.  And the whole "For the God-Emperor" vibe!

Clan MadCat...basically wearable armor and weapons system. But for regular infantry, MI wins the day.

Robotech Cyclone armor might be a good choice, based on maneuverability.

Always been a fan of Heinlein's "Starship Troopers" MI power armor.
But I've got to give the win to Felix from John Steakley's "Armor" when it comes to the best.

Not top of the food chain, but the Edge of Tomorrow jackets are pretty good & theoretically possible if battery tech advances sufficiently.

I liked the way Michael Z. Williams handled the subject in his Freehold series.   No power armor, but 'super' soldiers.

The armored combat suits from Ringo's Legacy of the Aldenata series are pretty badass too.

Best supersoldier is Marshal Atins Ving-et-Un in The Golden Transcendence.

He is the only soldier in the entire solar system.

Always been partial to Warhammer 40K Space Marine power armor.  Always partial to Mark VI Corvus version.

MCRN Force Recon Goliath Mk III/IV (from The Expanse) is up there in the running-- comfortable and flexible, lots of power and plenty of firepower-- no nukes, but they've taken a HELL of a battering and kept its occupant alive--

Crysis Nanosuit is likely the best due to it not being bulky.  Allows the user to still fit in nearly any vehicle.  Even other power armor!

Crysis nanosuit.  It's truly a suit, not a personal tank, leaving the user free to do all normal functions a person could do.

But most importantly, cloak mode.  Invisibility is the king of all superpowers (for battle).
