Not sure but I was at a meeting in Chicago one time and a co worker and I took a train over to a “casino” in Indiana. Can’t remember the name or the city... What a complete shithole. The felt on the Craps tables was in worse shape than the felt on a pool table in a college town.
Needless to say we were the only ones that didn’t smoke or have gold teeth. We didn’t stay long. My vote is wherever the hell that was. |

Last time I went through Indiana I was on the motorcycle and my gps took my through a scenic detour of Gary as well as all of the toll roads on the way to my cousin's wedding in Ft Wayne.
I can honestly say it is the only time in my life I have ever said (and will ever say) "Thank god I'm back in Chicago." No disrespect to those that live there, but got damn if they could make something suck they sure as hell tried to do so. |

Gary by far is the worst I’ve ever seen. It’s like a post apocalyptic world. Mogadishu comes to mind. Except for the city hall office building. All the tax dollars went there.
The hiv shit was from heroin junkies closer to Louisville Kentucky. I live in the south west corner of the state and it’s fairly boring. |

NW Indiana isnt bad if you find the good spots. There are many cities and if you live towards Valpo you can get into nice unincorporated country areas that arent far from the stuff you need. My mom lives south of route 30 on 750 west. I like it I went to school at Purdue. The area around Lafayette is incredibly boring, with little to do. |
