I would pick the Sazerac rye from table 1.
From table 2 I would choose Angel's Finished Rye, and Basil Hayden's 10 year old rye. I know nothing about any of these, I have just been trying different ryes this year. |

Any btac or pappy line, table 1.
Birthday or blood oath from 2. Weller full proof, antique, and willet 4 year rye from 3. Heads up, the first 30-40 folks in line, roughly,, will get something "good", based on my past experiences, most of table 1 will be gone after that, unless allocation amounts are up from the past. Most stores were getting 1 or two bottles of the super sought after items. Table 2 and three are still worth showing up for based on selection, at least in AL. |

Don't get me wrong, if you get a spot in the first hundred it would be worth a trip, youll see items you cant get all year here. After that it will be picked over crumbs with a line around the block fighting for them. It's like Black Friday for bourbon, for anyone who doesn't live in AL.  Except they don't restock until the same day next year.

I’m thinking *if* I get a low number I’ll try for any of the Pappy, Van Winkle, WL Weller, Blanton’s Gold, EH Taylor, and the other Weller offerings from table 1.
For Table 2, I’d probably start with the Four Roses, EH Taylor, Elmer T Lee, Elijah Craig, and Michter’s. Area 3, Woodford Reserve Master Collection, Weller, EH Taylor, Four Roses Barrel Strength/ Single Barrel store pick, and Buffalo Trace Bourbon Cream. |

Table 1 = pappy 23 or eh taylor marriage ( can always trade those for multiple bottles if you don't want to drink)
Table 2 = eh taylor barrel proof and michters 10yr bourbon. That gives you a great high proof bourbon and a fantastic lower proof bourbon, best of both worlds! |

There are a lot of good choices there for good prices.
Its been a while but the Pappy 20 is damn good and way below market. Several things there that I have never had at way below market like the Birthday Bourbon. It would be hard to choose if I could only pick one. I would have to wait till it was my turn to see what was left. |
