Seeing what is your favorite Bolt Action Rifle....

Has made me want a new gun...

Thinking a Ruger American Ranch/Predator in 6.5 grendel or 223/556

What is the most fun bolt gun -

I do have a savage 17 HMR that I do like to shoot - thinking some might be more fun...

What says the hive?

For me?

The K31.

That smooth straight pull action, decent power, handles perfectly.

I enjoyed the hell out of my $85.00 NOS M44. Fireball with every trigger pull.

If you've got a suppressor, its hard to beat the fun of a .300 Blk shooting suppressed subs.

If you reload, you can get a similar effect using a .308 and Trailboss. Regardless, they're comically quiet.

Also good.

I've only shot an AI once. But it handled like a bank vault. Very effective for brain surgery out to significant range.

Bergara b14r. The .22 match ammo is all subsonic, so no need to wear ear pro. It’s amazingly fun shooting tiny groups, or steel out past 400m, all with zero recoil, for CHEAP (relatively speaking).

Vudoo .22.    Nothing like getting drunk and making 400 yard .22 shots

The chicks dig it too.

For me it's long range target shooting.
I really like my two Ruger Precision Rifles, one in 6.5 Creedmoor and one in 6.5 PRC.

I would go with this, but will posit that the earlier G1911 is smoother and more accurate due to sight radius. Either/or.

A nice Swede 94/96/38 is also ranking. M96 with diopter sights and good hand loads is one of the most accurate open sighted rifle I have seen.

I liked the two I had.
But then all I had to compare them to were Mosins.

a buddy's last ditch arisaka was surprisingly fun to shoot

but his carcano was enough fun I had to buy my own, and now can't find 6.5 carcano anywhere

then again my bubba'd M17 enfield is a blast, but I never go to the range without my Marlin 80 22LR

after responding to this I've come to the conclusion that whichever bolt action in my hands is my favorite

My Remington 700 Varmint in .22-250. 6.5-20X Leupold scope. best group I've shot with it was 5 shots in two holes, something like .38" at 100 yards.

Friend of mine(and another member here) has offered to buy it several times but I can't bring myself to part with it.
He found one just like it at a LGS the other day and bought it.

For me it's the K31 even so its not my most accurate rifle
- craftsmanship is second to none
- sight system options (iron, diopter, scope)
- StMarie mount - absolutely perfect for lefty shooters

I might be a bit biased because I'm born in the same country :-)

I need to get one

I really like my blaser straight pulls. Incredibly fun to shoot

I suspect the blasers are more accurate, but not by much

Cz 527 in .22 hornet. Cheap to reload for, ammo is still all over, accurate, not super loud, set trigger, thumps squirrels.
