Pimento cheese is posed to be pinkish redish color.
There is a local restaurant that makes their own. One has jalapeño. Best I've had. |

good stuff! will keep an eye out for the suggestions listed. been on a pimento cheese kick this year. have only been able to find price's and braums'. those look good, but im not sure they get distributed to the podunk stores i shop.

I haven't found a store brand that I didn't like, but that Palmetto brand is pretty damn good.
The Jalapeño kind is pretty tasty too. |

Pimento cheese sandwiches were a staple in my house growing up.....dad would make them for us....sometimes he would get fancy and lay on a slice of luncheon meat and some chips on the side.....
Then he would get real fancy and lay on a slice of olive loaf....we were eating uptown then.... Pimento cheese and oilve loaf sandwich....damn good eating for us back then |
