Looking for a camera strap (system??) that is comfortable with a heavy(ish) setup?

I use Peak Design. They are a little pricey but are very well made. Each QD Anchor holds 200lbs so they handle weight pretty well.

I'm not opposed to dropping some coin on something good, just want something comfortable. I've rocked the OEM Nikon strap for years.

+1 using Peak Design slide lite strap and the cuff when not using the strap.

Domke.  Simple is best.

Peak Design's straps are pretty darn nice.  That said, I have RRS plates on my gear and just use a padded rifle sling with QD swivels.  They do double duty for me.

I've been using a Black Rapid double set up for years.  Never failed me yet.  I do have a backup paracord link to the camera and strap, but I've never needed it.

DSPTCH is made in USA and looked to be quite nice when I handled it at their store; the backpacks they make are very fine quality so I'd have high hopes for the straps.

I've used the Black Rapid single point since 2010. It works amazingly well and still looks new to this day.

Peak Design fan here. Plus you can get anchors cheap and just swap the strap really fast & easy from camera to camera.

RRS plates and a Magpul MS3 sling

Plus a hand strap.

ETA, I can't stress enough how useful the simple handstrap is.  Allows you to hold the camera very loosely when not shooting and still maintain a VERY secure grip.  They're freaking amazingly useful.

Bonus points you can use it for your rifle when not shooting (natch!).

Late to the party, but if you are looking for a neck strap, this is one of the best.

I've used the OP/Tech Pro Strap plus the Utility Strap Sling XL Quick Adjust for several years. I got it because it's one of the widest straps on the market and it distributes the weight over a wider patch of skin. Also, the neoprene material offers additional mitigation against pressure points on the shoulder. The system allows the user to mix and match shoulder pads and straps to suit their desires. In my case, I like the single-point QD solution (very similar to FredMan's) and the strap cinches up tight to keep the camera handy and minimizes swinging while hiking.

Another vote for PD Slide Lite, though in all honesty I almost never use a strap.

Peak Design. I still have THE ORIGINAL strap they came out with on Kickstarter years ago. It's a bit on the thin side, but I use a Micro 4:3 camera that is pretty small anyway.

They make wider straps that look great. I've also got a few of their sling bags and the tripod they came out with. All quality products.

Another vote for the hand strap.
I made my own with nylon strap plus leather. I can snug my hand into it and not lose the camera even with a relaxed grip.
Otherwise, it's just the standard strap for around the neck.

I have a peak design strap I use on my second body,... the the primary is Black Rapid all day long.  Hella comfy and not overly large or unwieldy
