I'm a pretty big fan of The Last Podcast on the Left and The Higherside Chats for my commute home. I'm nearly done catching up on their back catalog of episodes and I want to branch out a little more. Does anyone happen to listen to any good podcasts on these topics (or others)?

Mysterious Universe is the best one out there, second only to old Art Bell in entertainment value. I haven't found too many others that are consistently good. Sasquatch Chronicles is ok for Sasquatch stories.

I like Beyond Creepy on YouTube. He just reads stuff he finds online and in books, he doesn't generally criticize them but occasionally he does. It's obvious some stories are absolutely absurd and total BS but true or not it's very entertaining. He hasn't been making lots of new videos though since YouTube repeatedly demonetizes him.

I've been enjoying Sasquatch Chronicles. Haven't looked into many others, though I've listened to a few of The Confessionals and they're decent. Needed a break from my usual rotation (Daily Wire guys, Rubin Report, JRE, ect) and have really just checked out of the current events/politics realm as of late. I just get pissed off hearing about the monotonous lefty lunacy at this point. Can't really focus on the real estate and financial podcasts that I like while working for them to be beneficial, so sasquatch it is. There are definitely some interesting tales shared on Chronicles.

I'll have to check out Mysterious Universe. Just saw one with Dan Carlin, so I downloaded it for tomorrow's playlist.

Mysterious Universe. I drive a lot and have listened to every free episode they have available on their website.

They’re all pretty good.

There are a LOT of copy-cats, pirates, and other assholes infringing on and capitalizing on his work, but hands down he's spellbinding and while you can draw a lot of conclusions, the next case blows holes in your theory.....You really have to READ ALL THE BOOKS, and then you'll realize there's no clear explanation. He's no bullshit, no speculation, it's all "just the facts" Police reporting.  He's got a you-tube channel, and is a guest on Coast to Coast AM.

I really enjoy Sasquatch Chronicles.

Wes really makes the show tolerable and interesting to listen to. he doesnt push any suggestions on anyone and is very willing to listen to what people have to say no matter how far out there it sounds.
I've talked to him on the phone and the weird stuff ive had happen to me. really nice guy.

Expanded Perspective. It's just two regular guys who does it as a hobby. The chemistry *no homo* between them makes listening that much more enjoyable. I can't say the same for others as about 10 or so minutes in I tune them out and not paying attention.

I agree, easy to listen to and they cover the whole range of Cryptid stuff.

I recently came across Tin Foil Hat with Sam Tripoli. He seems to speak his mind a little more forcefully than some other hosts I've listened to in the past, especially with regards to current day politics. You guys may enjoy it. He's done some crossover episodes with some other conspiracy podcasts as well like The Higherside Chats. He has Eddie Bravo from time to time, which is always a trip.

I very recently came across The Old Gods of Appalachia which is a horror anthology written to take place in the not-so recent past. It reminds me of the Lovecraftian horror I love so much. Check it out if you're into that type of stuff!

I like Sasquatch Chronicles with Wes.  Pretty good and getting better, but he needs to know when to cut off an interview.  He lets people repeat themselves incessantly.  Gets annoying.

On YouTube I listen to Dixie Cryptid and Buckeye Bigfoot a lot.  I like their style.

There are others on Youtube but the hosts reading skills are so bad I can't listen.  They frequently mispronounce very easy words like Rockies, Tetons etc.  Basic geography they should know how to pronounce.  Many are very monotone and its like listening to a 3rd grader read a chapter book.

I like Dixie Cryptid, and Buckeye Bigfoot as well. Bigfoot Case Files is good as well. I haven`t  listened to sasquatch Chronicles in a while. Cryptids canada and Sasquatch Stories are a little tougher to listen to.

"Mysterious Universe" is great

"The Unexplained" (with Howard Hughes) is really good.

"Monsters among us" is not bad.

"Sasquatch Chronicles" has the occasional compelling story/guest, but is mostly filled with lying bullshitters.

"Into the fray" is pretty bad, with a few exceptional episodes. (Shannon seems to believe anything anyone will tell her.)

1. Because for nearly 30 years I've been talking to liars just about every day as part of my job.

2.I've been interested in cryptozoology literally for decades before it became mainstream, and I've read many, many books on various cryptozoology topics.

3.I don't believe everything I read, see, or hear, just because I want to agree with it. (See #1)

I enjoy Last Podcast On The Left although I feel the quality has gone downhill from their older stuff. I also listen to Astonishing Legends but they can be long-winded and repeat the same thing 3 or 4 times.

I strongly agree with that. Their move to Spotify hasn't translated to better (or worse) material but in the past year they've gotten worse about letting their politics slide into everything. I listen to those types of podcasts to get away from the garbage I have to listen to from coworkers. Their side stories went from entertaining to now their worst segments. Henry and Ben can get pretty preachy for over-socialized and under-educated entertainers.

most of the early SC podcasts were pretty legit.

alot of them are just time fillers now.

Tracy the delivery driver.
the Insider
and several others were spot on.

I had to take a breather from all the politics as well. Give The Cold War, what we saw a try. It’s about the space program and the events that kicked of the Cold War. Definitely political, but if The Buck Sexton isn’t in your lineup you’re doing yourself a disservice

Regardless of their politics, podcast hosts need to keep them private unless that's the topic of the podcast. I frigging hate that.

I really enjoy dogman encounters. Vic Cundiffs voice is smooth as butter, this coming from a very straight dude :-)

Mr Ballen is my other fave. Former SEAL with a deep interest in the paranormal and weird shit but through a variety of genres. Seems like a pretty cool guy and I love hearing the way he tells his stories.

Sorry, was typing on my phones, that should be a year to 2 years ago or so.  Yeah, same guy.  He didn’t rant long, just went on a liberal tirade and praised Obama.  Did it in a few vids I was watching.  I couldn’t get past it and moved on.

I know it was him because so many have recommended him I wanted to hear him out. Too much bloviating for me.

Just another Canadian Socialist.  That is kind of surprising considering his occupation and desire for independence.
