Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - What causes this error in shifting zero?

Not sure that’s what it’s called but it seems mid print sometimes my Ender 5 changes “zero” along the X axis.

It screwed up a full bed set of cookie cutters I was doing yesterday and today this sign for my in-laws.

First guess would be a slipping belt.  Check tension & whether the set screws on the servo pulleys are tight.  The other possibility is an obstruction that interferes with movement causing the stepper to skip steps.
