I don't really miss building/installing Bailey Bridges. Did enough of that while in the Army.  Bailey Bridges are basically giant erector set bridges that are built on site.

You can make a really nice diorama with your Bailey bridge to go with your other models. I just got back into 1:35 military models recently and have been concentrating on armored recovery vehicles and engineer specific vehicles.

The Bailey bridge is such as good design that they stayed unchanged from WWII until the mid 1990's. It wouldn't surprise me if the US military is still using the old bridges that we had when I was in. I know all the ones we had in Germany in the early 90's were from the 40's or 50's.

If you could find a period correct 45' flatbed semi trailer and tractor, you could leave one Bailey bridge apart and on the trailer.  I wish I had pictures. We hauled the disassembled bridges on 45' trailers pulled by M818 5ton tractors.

Maybe use a dragon wagon
Tammy’s has a kit, and someone else offered a resin tractor with the earlier body style

There are bailey bridges still in use that were placed during WWII.

Nice finds.

I esp like the PzrIII ausf A, and the Marder I myself.

That's some neat stuff.
I'm not a modeler, so I'm curious what that cost.

Understand if you don't care to answer.  Kinda rude of me to ask.

Have you done a lot of armor builds?  I really like this guys videos.  Particularly his 'paint chipping' videos and his weld seam videos.

The graveyard can be good sometimes. Large part of my aircraft kit collection came from there.

I wouldn't say a lot, and I've mostly been focusing on aircraft of late.  I'll give that a look, thanks

I like him because he does some basic parts fabrication and kit-bashing, and he uses really simple techniques to get outstanding results.
