Just got diagnosed with beer flu..........

I've been exposed to so many people that have had it I just assumed I was asymptomatic. Had a check up last week and asked doc to get me an antibody test, sure as shit it came back positive. Lucky me I guess.

On day 2 of being positive myself.

Hunker down, get some rest and you'll get through it. Use the time to re-watch Band of Brothers.

Mine felt like a super bad sinus infection with extreme lethargy and fatigue.

I am still out of energy a month out of it.

We recently had our kitchen remodeled.  I thought the dust and stuff that was kicked up was giving my allergy/sinus issues.  The day after Christmas, my wife woke up and could not smell or taste.  She got tested and was positive.  I didn't bother getting tested, I just assumed I had it.

For her, it was like a really bad cold, plus not being able to smell or taste.

For me it was like a really bad cold with one exception.  I work from home and sit in front of a computer all day.  As long as I was sitting and working, I was fine.  If I got up and just walked around the house, I would get worn out and couldn't breathe.  That lasted about 10 days, I'm back to normal now.

Neither of our boys had any issues, so either they didn't get it or were asymptomatic.

The plus side is that you will lose flab.

Beer is empty calories.

As long as you don't join the even MORE exclusive group.

Thankfully I had minor symptoms with just a stuffy nose with sinus pressure and off and on headaches that lasted 5 days so I got tested and came back positive. 3 days later I was fine. Just drank plenty of fluids, took vitamin C and Zinc. Thankfully my wife and our son didn't get it and our quarantine ends Friday. Good luck and hopefully you you get better quickly.
