Should have to opt in, amount contributed should be able to increase what you get, take the assets of any politician who voted to use money gained from social security to pay for other bullshit, and stop handing it out to parents of immigrants who come here and never contribute a dime to it but still receive it.

This is a serious post. It could be phased out. Why isnt it? Its 1/4 of the friggen budget.
You could easily end the program by allowing people to opt out. Continue to fund it for people that dont want to opt out. But allow people to opt out if they choose to. Over time it dies, and we save a ton of money. Theres no way the retards in the U.S. government can manage the funds more responsibly than someone who has an actual pulse |
