I talk about this movie all the time, I used to watch it with my father as a kid. It was on the other night my wife, daughter and I watched it. My wife had never seen it. Its one of my favorite movies.

I used to watch this movie all the time as a kid, I loved it.  I thought it was just silly and ridiculous and goofy, and it is, but I didnt get all the side jokes and mystery parodies until I got older.  I loved the weird house, and would try to imagine how the rooms moved without anyone knowing.  Back when movies left more to your imagination.

I thought Twain was an older man.  73 or 74.

76 to be exact.  How do I look so young?  Quite simple:  a complete vegetable diet, 12 hours of sleep a night, and lots and lots of makeup.

"What do you make of all of this, Wang?"

"Is confusing."

"IT! IT is confusing! Say your goddamn pronouns!"

Me too. I was a pre-teen, though, so there's that.

I was a big fan of Charlie Chan and Sherlock Holmes, the old black and white versions when I was a kid.

I thought Murder by Death was hilarious when I saw it.

Ah to be young again.

Some reason me and my best friend really loved old black and white movies.  Marx Brothers, maybe because the stations back then ran that stuff late weekend nights.

Excellent movie. I also watched it for the umpteenth time last Saturday. And Maggie Smith was impressive back in the day.

Great movie.

Sidney Wang : Very interesting theory, but, you overlook one very important point.Dick Charleston : And that is?
Sidney Wang : Is stupid. Is most stupid theory I ever heard.

Willie Wang : ... I don't get something, Pop: WAS there a murder, or WASN'T there?
Sidney Wang : Yes: Killed good weekend. Drive, please.

I saw it in the theater back in the 70s, and I used to watch it every Sunday night ABC had it on in the 80s.

No one else had seen it, except for one former coworker.

Excellent movie!

"Did ya ever make it with a waitress?"

"I beg your your pardon?"

"A waitress. Big, fat waitress. I don't know what them society dames are like in the kit, but you ain't never had it 'til you made it with a big, fat, blondie waitress. If you're ever interested, you give me a call."

Maggie Smith, James Cromwell, and Richard Narita are the only cast members still alive.

Half the cast didn't even make it out of the 80s.

There’s a band named after the movie that puts on a pretty good concert.

Went to their show at the Stanley in Estes Park a couple years ago.

Saw that in the theater with my dad, pretty good farcical comedy.

The Peter Sellers Charlie Chan knock of character would really twist some panties nowadays.

Haven't seen it in about 40 years, from what I remember it was a damn good movie.
