Tell me that's not what this is. A zero bedroom, one bathroom "house" that looks like this. It glows. From the chans.

Damn. The property taxes are less than I pay for a split-level ranch here.
|
|
Definitely interesting. Looks to have been a server farm for an organization of some sort.

Weapons locker to secure sidearm.
Sally port entry system. Plexiglass view port. Racks for clothing. Huge generator? Elevated floor for ductwork and wiring? |
|
|
Just a pumping station. That is how they hide them in residential areas.
|
|
Could have been a telecom building that they blended into the neighborhood.
Of course, that probably means the NSA was in there, not the CIA. ETA, I didn't catch the 6" plexiglass with a firing hole on my first look, so who the hell knows. |
|
That's a weird house right there. The front door suggests it's not your normal residence while the inside confirms it. Cinder block walls! I want to see the torture chamber the Dems set up for us deplorables. I wonder if the windows are unusually thick.

No pictures of the bathroom in the listing that’s a pass for me.

Sweet Jesus that's absolutely not a residence.
Black site or similar. |

View Quote Covert data/coms center....The cost to convert that space to living space would be sizeable. Update: Google maps shows this right smack dab in the middle of a neighborhood, inquiring minds want to know if this property is excluded from the HOA??? |

I’m sure there are a ton of perfectly logical and totally not 4th amendment troubling reasons a home would look like that.

Lockers could be for your cell phone. But, they sure do look like lockers for a sidearm. I'm digging the fake windows.

Data center doesn't explain the lockers on the inside of the door. Weapons lockers? Even secure data centers I've been in didn't require me to leave my phone. the good news is, looks like you're getting a hell of a generator! |

Looks like a telecom switching or data center. Utilities sometimes make them look like houses in residential areas.

I've been in places with a cubby or basket for cells, never a locker though. |

Power substation is what I've gathered online, but why the sally port?

It looks more like a hole for an intercom with the intercom removed. |

The large room has a elevated floor, and all wiring, water etc is surface mounted. Its a scif room.
What the actual use was, no clue. If I had to guess, forward operating intel center, with the abilty to stock "needed" items. What else is close to it, there has to be some thing. |
|
Quoted: Tax records show that the previous owner is AT&T. View Quote They do buildings like that a lot. Low profile and just blend in with the surroundings. The entry way corridor window and gun / cell phone lockers are interesting. AT&T must of had an agreement with someone. But as was mentioned they could of done a better job at the landscaping maintenance. |

All I need is a lottery win and I will buy that - convert a small part of it to living accomodation..............and the rest into the best home indoor range you will ever see.

The utility service looks to be really small for what they had in there. I wonder how much that generator was run?
ETA: Should have read the description, two service's from two different companies. Probably not redundancy but to mask power consumption. |

Maybe my screen is too small but it doesn't look like those lockers have locks but that is coool.

AT&T is also known to work with the NSA and CIA, it would make sense they used them as a front.
