TO THE MOON edit: I had my hands on the "Buy" button around $13.75, then one of my kids distracted me for 30 seconds and then it's at $13.95...then I watch it jump to $14.25.

Who’s your brokerage? Are you able to trade AH? Might want to keep in mind the build-up to IAA may possible spike MVIS pre-market on Tuesday. I’m not saying it will, but after a long weekend, and for the clowns that got out prior to the long weekend, there could be a pretty good spike on Tuesday pre-market. People are going to be jonesing for a hit afte not trading for three days, and MVIS is ripe. |

Ahhhhhh Fing wash sale bullshit... had some money sitting in fidelity and currently wasn't holding any "secondary mvis" (I have my primary holding on chase and don't mess with those....yet)
28 days ago I sold out of my secondary mvis holdings and today on the dip I decided to get back in before the event. Got in at like 14.6x buuuut since it's not been 30 days and some of my previous holdings I sold at a lose (bought in three chunks only the first chunk was a loss so overall made money) it's flagged as a wash sale with a cost basis of $17.xx Like everything else wash sales confuse me slightly, I'm sure at the end everything evens out but hate seeing the crazy high cost basis for stocks I got for 14 something a share |
