lots of transactions get set for the day on the market close price.
Big funds will drive the price +- in the last 15 minutes or so to push it where they need to be for the best price on their contract settlements. Typically its a bubble that usually resets pretty quickly. |

WSB is standing a lot stronger than I would have imagined. Lots of peer pressure to hold through Friday. If they make it, and those millions of short shares get called, all bets are off. Hopefully they don't wreck the larger market in the process.
My favorite quote today, after they got called a few uncomplimentary names on the MSM today: "The move on GME is so simple that even "unsophisticated" traders can understand: hedge funds fucked around and found out." |
