Does the Corps still issue the wool overcoat?
We called it the Horse banket back in the day.

No, they are black all weather coats now.

I was in back in the ‘80s. They adopted an all weather coat to replace it back then, but the old coat was still allowed to be worn.  Cheap trenchcoat with a zip out lining, very pale khaki/gray in color.
The horse blanket was the shit.
