I'm in NE Ohio and am finding it difficult to buy an expensive bottle of bourbon....Need as a gift
to my best man. Thanks!!

UPDATE:

I want to thank everyone for the great suggestions on bourbons to BUY. I already know about many of those excellent
choices. I was mostly looking for online stores that have a better selection of bourbon than I can buy here in Ohio....Stores
that will ship to me. If you have any that will do this, please let me know!! Thanks!!

Weller 12yr old is a bit cheaper if you can find it.

Blantons

Elmer T Lee single barrel

4 Roses single barrel (cheaper)

Any of those would be good.

Any of the Buffalo Trace Ancient Collection would serve you nicely. A Jack Daniels Sinatra Select would also fit your bill. Don't forget that there are some very nice 15-18 year old single malts and also the Japanese are making a foray into the aged whisky market. Go to the largest liquor store in your area. They'll have a locked high end case full of qualifiers for your search.

Yep.  Bottles that previously sold for $40 are selling online for double/triple/quadruple that now.

Well you dont really have to hit 100 to get a good bourbon. Bourbon, outside of rare or allocated bottles, doesnt yield a big return for paying over the $50-60 mark that most "premium" bottles are priced at. The ones that are rare are generally much higher priced. Antique collection goes for $350 into the thousands on secondary markets. A $25 bottle of Weller 12 year will go for over $100. Instead I would recommend grabbing a few well regarded standards. A henry McKenna 10 year bottled in bond and a knob creek single barrel pick would hit under your budget and keep most bourbon drinkers very happy.

Can't find michters anywhere.  Weller 12 comes around every once in a while.  Lot of it bought up and sold online for ridiculous prices.

Weller 12 is excellent too. Haven't looked for it recently but I don't remember it being too hard to find. I'll have to check for some today when I get out. I'm due for a new bottle of something anyway.  Just looked on line. Seems to have been discontinued.

ummmm "We're terribly sorry, but we're unable to ship to the United States. You can read more about why on our blog."

Ill second the Blantons suggestion but skip your liquor store and check your grocery stores.  Our Jewel has them on the shelf almost weekly when one of the biggest liquor stores in the region (Binnys) cant get any in years.

BTAC (Antique Collection) selling around the $90 MSRP range usually sells out as soon as hits the shelf in Nov. Any store still holding on to a BTAC most likely wants anywhere from 4-7x MSRP.

That sucks about Masters of Malt.  I have ordered many things from them.  Hopefully, they can go back to shipping to the US.  For the OP, try Caskers.  I just had a shipment from them last week without any issues.

Caskers

I have also used the Whiskey Exchange without any issues.

I grew up south of Youngstown.  For the extra price you will pay in shipping, you could make the drive in to PA.  Someone on one of these threads was able to buy a few bottles of Weller in PA.  No idea where that store was, or where that thread is.

If you don't mind auction sites, this one is good to go.  I've won a couple of things off this place.
