Man, I don’t miss flying. The entire experience from parking to plane seat just makes me feel miserable.

Quoted: What does "without authorization" mean? Zone 4 trying to board with 1st class, or people without a ticket? https://www.ar15.com/images/smilies/smiley_confused.gif View Quote It was over baggage size. Southwest now has MASSIVE amounts of storage area in the overhead bins. They upgraded them over the last year or two. Full size suitcases fit in them. But gate agents are still enforcing the “your bag has to fit in this little box” rule. I watched a disagreement over bag sizes almost get physical on a flight last year and the stewardess actually sided with the passengers over the gate agent because the overhead bins are huge now. Southwest was also only filling planes to 50% capacity so it made sense, but once they go back to 100% space will probably be an issue again. |

I made an assumption before clicking on the video and as usual my assumption was correct.

My ex worked for that airline at that airport.
She was on par with the scumbaggery in this video. |

DTL to ATL on Spirit ?
That should be some kind of punishment for people who really fuck up. |

How am I not shocked at this video? Maybe it was remembering all the cities burned and looted in the last 6-8 months. Basically internet behavior has become IRL. Fun times ahead!

Detroit to Atlanta on Spirit? I'm pretty sure that's just the daily pre-boarding fisticuffs routine.

Saw some funny comments on another site that had the video.
'They should be banned from using any form of public transportation for life'. Followed by, 'But how will they get to work.........Oh, wait a minute'.......... |

Any spirit ticket counter or gate should be considered a war zone.

Quoted: Why not just load people into a shipping crate then stack them in a cargo hold? View Quote The speed of unloading is faster when the cargo moves itself. Unloading an entire plane means you have to take row 1 then 2, then 3, ect till row 35. which takes time, but cargo is row 7a, then 7b, then row 6a, 6b, ect ect. and is limited by the speed of the cargo mover wheels inside the AC(which isn't fast, high torque but low speed, think medium walk pace, and only one at a time). People self propelling themselves off the AC is more efficient. BUT if you had an entire swappable belly component (IE simply taxi up, hit lever and pax compartment slides off new pax compartment already loaded is ready) then it would be feasible. Much like semi trailers pulling into drop off, unhooking and hooking up new load and back on highway, vs box truck driving in, backing up to docks, unloading, then reloading, then back on road. If you could efficiently design a method that would pass FAA approval and be light enough it would be a multi MILLION dollar idea and I'm 100% serious. (airlines saving 10 minutes daily per AC would be million per airlines per year, times 87 airlines world wide). Cousin was part of a company that built some software that made AC climb slopes 1-2% more efficient. She retired mid 30's when they sold the company/software. |

In case you’re wondering how people can make such stupid decisions that wind them up in prison for the rest of their life. A simple dispute over baggage means they not only didn’t get to fly on that airplane, they’ll probably never be allowed to fly on an airplane again. I hope it was worth it.

Fuck Spirit. Serious.
Had to fly them because they had the first open flight. Nasty all around. Cheap flights have a way of attracting the most “interesting” clientele. |

I can't poke fun. Took a Delta flight through Detroit a couple of years ago or so. It's _way_ nicer than Ohare. |
