Sunday morning and I was tasked with making breakfast.  I decided to do bacon & eggs of the outside griddle.  

In preparation for this, I decided to try something different.  I went to my tobacco "cellar" and pulled out a tin of Penzance.  Filled the bowl part way and went outside to get my job done.

This is the 1st time that I ...

- smoked a pipe in the morning before any meal &

- smoked Penzance.

The experience was fabulous.  I can see this being a regular Sunday morning thing for me.

I got rained out last Sunday but I was back at it this morning.  75 degrees with a slight breeze and bearable humidity.

Cranked up the BGE and loaded two racks of baby backs @ 6:30.  Cooked bacon and eggs on the outside griddle.  

1/2 bowl of Penzance after breakfast and another 1/2 bowl after lunch (ribs & slaw).  Plan to do another bowl this evening with coffee in lieu of supper.

Talk about flavor overload today.  Life is good in the sane portion of the Country.
