Never been a fan of hip-hop/rap. Buuut I decided to expand my playlist horizons some and see what was out there besides Christian rock and metal, turns out I actually like a good bit of the Chistian hip hop out there...who would have guessed.





Thought I'd share some quick examples, anyone else have a similar experience? Any other types of Christian music I ought to give a try?

Yeah I just grabbed some quick ones, I recognize a few of those, I like NF and KB too. Heck listening to Zone Out by KB right now lol.

Much better than the ones that talk about shooting a cop.

It’s not at all what it used to be when I was growing up. There are a number of legitimately talented artists. I’m a huge fan of NF. I feel “hip” because I was on to him back when Mansion was released

If you like Flame, he and NF had a collaborative that I really enjoy...

Just straight NF is excellent. I’m definitely not the authority, but I’d contend he’s one of the best rappers of this generation. Not just Christian. Rap, period. Way too many to choose from...









Lecrae, as mentioned, is another with some excellent songs. Like NF, too many to list...

Didn’t even get into Andy Mineo, KB, and plenty of others. There’s just so much out there to choose from.

NF and KB have been pretty high on my playlist lately.

Like others have said NF is awesome. So is Lecrae. Andy Mineo and Wordsplayed are amazing too. They did a collaborative album that is incredible. I also really like Trip Lee.
