Very brilliant points. But I see one major point he either missed or intentionally left out.
He kept talking about Biden/Garland. We all know Biden doesn’t have two working brain cells to rub together to make a spark. Who is the team of conspirators working with Garland to suppress opposition from the right? That is what needs to be revealed. |

Carlson, Hannity, and a local guy whom I thought was solid Brian Thomas... They all shut up and toed the line of the election being legit because of where their paycheck comes from. He had to work within the framework of the available facts. Recall what the "stolen election" narrative was in those days/at that moment of time--the narrative was a wild conspiracy theory about internet hacking and servers in Germany getting siezed by armed special forces, and the "proof" would be delivered to the American people "soon". I recall a show in the days after the election where he was desperate to interview Sidney Powell, he seemed absolutely desperate to put her on air, but he first needed for her to provide him one single shred of actual evidence that what she was claiming to be "true" actually WAS true. And she didn't. Because she couldn't. Because it was all disinformation. If I'm wrong about that--please do educate me, because I sincerely want to know. He made the right call--he would not put her on the air unless she provided him some EVIDENCE--whatever evidence she was basing her public proclaimations on--and if that evidence didn't exist, then he didn't want her on his show--which is what journalism is supposed to be about. Forgive the source--but this piece might jog your memory about the lunacies being floated around in the hours and days after the election. This was the environment Conservative journalists were operating in. Amid all the noise and disinformation, they had no real footing from which to dispute the results of the election. Which raises the question: What was REALLY going on here? https://www.thedailybeast.com/pro-trump-lawyer-tried-to-instigate-special-ops-mission-in-germany-to-sell-election-lie-book-says |

View Quote I think it goes even deeper than partisan politics. GD is a terrible place to use for an example but it highlights it well. People here don't base it on being partisan they base it on their own little echo chamber. "tucker said 1 thing I disagree and he should be cancelled forever" is how many thing. Remember about 8 months ago a lot of people here were saying Fuck Ted Cruz? He misspoke or was mis-aligned on one issue and people here were ready to cancel him as if there were 100 better politicians waiting in line to fill in for him. People act like we have an unlimited number of better replacements for everyone even though every election they complain about the lack of good candidates in the primary. If we had good people to replace them with that would be one thing but we don't. What it really comes down to is its better to support everyone who is 51% or more on our side as they will do more good than harm for us. Yet GD shoots for 100% perfection inside an echo chamber. We won't win that way. |
