To the poo-poo'ers who say he's just doing it for optics, I believe he made the offer in earnest. That is to say, if they showed up, he would certainly honor it.
He likes creative solutions. Like what he did with the VA. Before, they had to wait, and wait for bureaucratic red tape, and he enacted policy to allow them to see a non-VA doc if they couldn't get in. I guess I'm a glass half full guy when it comes to believing Trump really loves America, and Americans. |
