Beautiful images and glad to see more Fuji shooters!
They say Fuji is like 4% of the marketplace iirc but I was at an event this last weekend where both other photogs were shooting Fuji. That’s been the case at several events recently. With the super deal on an Amazon for an X-T2 today (~$800) anyone that’s considering it should take the plunge, otherwise the X-T3 was rated very highly in every category. I switched from Canon after being with them professionally since their first digital SLR, and haven’t ever regretted the decision. I also worked at Kodak during development of their first digital camera, so I’ve been around digital photography for a while... even worked at Fuji for several years long before the X series came out, developing distributed fulfillment systems for them. Their current ecosystem is robust and continues to grow. Congrats on the trip and the images! |

The XT-3 seems very nice... just no IBIS.
I'm on Micro 4:3 with an OM-D EM-5 MkIII, and will probably wait for the MkIII that is more than likely coming next year. I really like the XT-3 though, and if it had IBIS, I'd be seriously considering jumping platforms. Maybe if Olympus decides to disappoint... but I don't expect that will be the case. |
