That is amazing! The Nautilus has always been a favorite ship of mine from the movie. I see a few limited run and usually expensive kits that people have made but never have found an ABS plastic run kit of that one. There are ones that I think are done from the way the book describes it, so it looks nothing like that.

Multi-layered base coat of silver and black but then there is an artists paint you use that is actual iron pigment that comes out black. Build up heavier areas, water it down and lightly apply where you want it transparent. Spray it with an acid it comes with and it rusts overnight. Used it on this one too.
