I met Tom and his dad at the '87 show. I was just a kid, and they showed my Dad & I- two nobodies- around the warbird flightline, merely because I walked up to Paul and asked what I guess was an intelligent question.
I also met Cliff Robertson and "Bob" Hoover at the same show. |

I wasn’t too happy when he started trying to attract the certified crowd for the $. AirVenture is more like an AOPA event than exp as far as the participants.
