I was blessed with an incredible opportunity today, and was in the right place at the time time. Just got these two pieces home, and I'm in the process of researching both, since neither are something I'd consider myself well-versed on. If you have input on either, I'd like to hear it.
Sorry for the kitchen counter pics. I'm a little excited. National Postal Meter carbine. This one came with about 175 rounds of ammo and 4 or 5 magazines. Rifling is...there...ish.    Next is a Winchester 1894 that I've already determined by serial number to be a 1955 manufacture     |

IIRC, you can reload .32WS with fired 30-30 brass. Treat it just like .32 brass. It’s probably easier to find 30-30 fired brass.

I can see clearly now, the squares are gone!
I can see all gun pics with my eyes. Gone are the snarky comments that made us sigh It's gonna be a fine, fine, gun shiny day! Nice rifles OP, the NPM is sweet. |

Those are the biggest pictures I've ever seen. On my slow internet connection they'll load 30 to 60% (enough to see the guns) then time out. Either way, very neat old rifles.
Also, my grandparents had those same salt and pepper shakers. I hadn't thought about those in years until I saw them in the picture.

I accidentally had my phone set to 108MP per pic. I'll try to fix and swap them out. On the plus side, I located a S&W 1076 today. Now to find mags for it... |
