Two (of many) songs that I always wish were longer anytime I hear them played are Elvis' version of "Hurt" and, of course (only the greatest Rock'n Roll song ever written) "Jessica" by The Allman Brothers.
"Hurt" has been described as the hardest of E's songs to sing (well) by at least one of the Elvis tribute artists out there. And, "Jessica"...should need no explanation other than to counter those who think Clapton's "Layla" (electric version) was the best r'n r song ever written. |
