Just started to collect my brass - in particular stuff that is getting increasingly expensive like 30-06, 7.5 Swiss, ...
I do have a de-priming tool and the ultrasonic cleaner just have to figure out if I want to buy a progressive or a single stage press.
Also no idea where to start here but at least the brass is piling up :-)

I haven't reloaded in years.

I started processing years worth of brass early in the summer. I literally have pounds tumbled.

Hopefully I'll have plenty of time next year to start cranking out ammo. Dumped one cartridge, picked up another 2.

Start with a single stage.  They are inexpensive and you will still use it after you buy a progressive later.

Single stage RCBS Rock Chucker.  I have had one I use for decades now, and RCBS stands behind their equipment 110%.  Once you master that press you can turn stuff out fairly quick.  Unless you are loading thousands of shells, I would not worry with a progressive.

If you rinse them before they hit the towel, the towel won't be black.

I use a Ronco food dehydrator off craigslist. $10.

Its capacity perfectly matches that of my wet tumbler.

That is basically all it is. The main thing is I won't have to tote brass into the kitchen and put it in the oven.

A HUGE advantage of a single stage press is the ability to check your work at each stage.  I find it very reassuring when the powder charge in each case can be visually verified before loading the bullets.  Been reloading since 1980 or so and never had an issue with my reloads.  My RCBS Rock Chucker is still great!

For over 3 years I’ve been wanting to get into reloading. I’ve saved about 1k (6 gallon bags worth) of brass for my 300 win mag. Now I have the brass and nothing else. Maybe the EE or GB it will go. I’ve found a used “precision reloading machine” but I can’t find components.
