Used to be able to buy human skulls on Ebay. Not sure about now. I wanted one, to keep in my study on the shelf.
My wife got wind of it and told me at no 5time would she live in a house that had a human skull...

I know I would have sat here and stared at it for hours, wondering what kind of life that person had, possibly get drunk and talk to it.

I was driving through Wisconsin years ago and stopped at a gun shop. They had a used 10/22 in the dollar bill theme like the Hi-Points for $200. Illinois had a 1 day waiting period for rifles at the time and I was only in state for the day.

Haha, def interesting they're mostly very old.

I have told people, have 3 kids...except they're dead. Long dead!

Have a 19th century Dwarf, 1421 St Elizabeth flood victim, 2500 year old Gallo Roman period that was in ocean for who knows how long. All crystallized over and teeth are petrified.

Examples I have are not what you find in a doctors office.

I bought one back in 87' along with a dozen boxes of ammo, from the "Gun exchange" in Escondido.
It was weird, and I like weird guns. I also had adjustment issues to Barracks life, and a small fortune eating a hole in the pocket from Gramps estate.

Remember the sheet metal toys from Japan back in the late 60's and early 70's?
The ones that shot sparks when stuff was turned, and had the razor sharp metal tabs that were bent to hold things together?
Yeah...the Dardick was just a step above that level.

I got one dud tround every 4-5 shots, and those that fired went everywhere but where pointed.
It was hilarious. "Pop!" then ignition somewhere between 3-5' or right at the muzzle. Some just dribbled out and laid there and then fizzed.

Like a dumbass, I traded it and the remaining 3-4 boxes of Trounds, plus 200 bucks, for a Daisy V/L.

The V/L was new to me...never knew they existed. "I just gotsta know" bit me in the ass again.

Like a dumbass hick farm kid...I let both go down the road....along with several others that are too painful to mention.

Now I'm gettin old and want them back dammit!

A medical skull prob $500-$1500. Depends on age, condition.

The rest $500-$20k. $500 low end not very good condition, missing mandible. Up to $20k for a very rare Peruvian elongated.

I didn't realize how crappy the ammo was for them. Your description is more reminiscent of the Gyrojet. Hard to believe Dardick, or anyone for that matter, could screw up ammo so badly.

And damn you for the Daisy reference. Had to look it up, and now I want one of those too.

$500 was about the cheapest I saw nice complete ones on eBay over a decade ago.

So @Beltfed these high-end ones, $2k and up, do they typically come with any kind of documentation? If so, how could that be authenticated?

Trashy looking gutter sluts with felony rap sheets, tats and piercings all over, and a predisposition toward waving knives around when pissed off.

They're horrible for sure, and a bit hard to wrangle, but holy hell are they fun sometimes.  Especially the ones that ask you to discipline them by choking them and spitting in their mouths.

So I've heard.
