That's the problem with cops.....mindless yes men. It took a BP and his barber to deal with this mess. Cops have to do their job! Just from reading a few other articles, I believe this agent, off duty, recd a text from school teacher wife, in the school, but another room, and he likely went saw the clusterfuck, ignored requests to stop and put on a critical incident reflective safety vest, and recovered her and brought out some other kids. Meanwhile, while the local school police were taking critical actions such as where to park the mobile command post and fusion center, tables, pop up tents, filling out school property damage reports, and so on, the bortac-ers were looking for anything from a cafeteria spoon, e-tool, or a caterpillar with an excavator bucket to get into that classroom and kill that cocksucker, disregarding the school incident commander telling him, they’re incident commander now. https://www.foxnews.com/us/tactical-team-prevented-from-entering-school-earlier,http://www.foxnews.com/apps-products/index.html Additionally, the officials say that the Uvalde Police Department held the Border Patrol agents back from going inside. |

That school should have been awash with armed officers with the singular mission to neutralize the shooter in as expedient and violent method as necessary.
Every officer who stood around "securing the perimeter" provided overwatch for Ramos. How many of the officers had a shotgun or patrol rifle at their disposal? How many had body armor? These are the people who are entrusted to keep our communities safe yet they chose to enable that psycho to execute kindergartners in cold fucking blood. All the while handcuffing and tazing parents. In a just world, every single one would feel the moral obligation to go home and paint the ceiling red with an HST. Each one of them is personally responsible for each and every one of those kids who was shot or bled out after they arrived. I guarantee if those cops would have turned over their weapons to the parents they were so eager or detain, Ramos would have been put down a hell of a lot sooner and the Uvalde cops could have stood outside and pissed their pants like the cowards they are. |

I am angry that there are those in my profession who would even consider treating an active shooter like a barricaded subject. That goes against current training and best practices for the last 20 years. The fact the guy was the Chief of Police for the school district makes me even angrier.
I know there are cops who aren’t cut out for direct action but I cannot believe that an entire local police department would be full of them. The fact they held up the BP guys is mind blowing. Or that there wasn’t someone willing to disobey the IC when it was the right thing to do. What are they going to do, fire you for going to work and solving the problem? Every situation is unique and this one certainly is but that’s why active shooter training is so simple - no matter what you go until the suspect is dead or in custody. A school full of kids with an armed criminal in it is an active shooter until it’s resolved. |

Quoted: Shot's were fired outside school before shooter even entered it. Where were all the LARPers with their armor, suppressors, and tourniquets? You know, the ones that prepare for shtf because cops aren't there when you need them? The ones that say "this heah stuff don't nevah happen heah in da souf - we won't tolerate it. They skeered". In Texas of all places. Does nobody own a gun in Texas?!? I understand the law pissing around while people died is unacceptable but where are all the people with EDC bags full of garbage they'll never use?!? "Some day someone is going to do something really bad - then it's go time" but children killed over the course of an hour or so apparently isn't one of them. Maybe they were too busy with their happy thoughts convincing themselves that the present is so much better than the past. One of the children could have been saved, they were still alive but lay untreated for over an hour while law enforcement twiddled their thumbs and arrested the parents trying to do something. They died at the hospital. She could have been saved if she got prompt medical treatment. View Quote Would the cops standing around have let the “larpers” inside? |

He drove 40 miles, grabbed a shield and a couple guys and said "fuck this shit, we're going right now!" View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: From a Breitbart article: Multiple law enforcement sources revealed to Breitbart Texas that part of the delay in stopping the barricaded elementary school shooter hinged on a deadly mix of the shooter’s defensive tactics and the lack of needed tactical gear. Attempting to breach the door without a ballistic shield would have resulted in certain death for the officers and provides the shooter with the officers’ weapons and ammunition.
