Looks like this one happened in Memphis after they fled across the river.
Trooper took a round in the vest and then returned fire with a rifle, killing both occupants of the car.  Arkansas Trooper Shot (NO VICTIMS SHOWN) While Assisting FEDS During Pursuit! Great Job Trooper! |

So when the officer returned fire from INSIDE his patrol car with a rifle there were 2 uninvolved vehicles directly down range from the target vehicle? Crazy...
