I want a meme of me bump-firing a 9mm AR with $79/k Wolf and a caption that says ‘some dance to remember, some dance to forget‘.

I think many were keenly aware of how good things were. No one expected it to last forever, but most were counting on at least another 4 years.
We laughed when Biden ran on a basement-dwelling campaign of eliminating fracking and implementing another AWB. People like having jobs, cheap gas, and unfettered 2A rights. But wouldn’t you know it, the son-of-a-B got elected with the most votes in history. Doesn’t sound right, but here we are nonetheless. |

Quoted: Go back further, I paid $60 for 500 rounds of Wolf in 2005 View Quote Around 2001ish, I used to order 1000 rounds of 55gr Federal for $119 from Ammoman.com. Wolf was around $99-109 for .223 and cheaper for commie calibers. (Sometimes as low as $79!) South African 7.62x51 was around the same price. IIRC I ordered around 2000 rounds for about $220. Free shipping on all of that. |

Sad is that You could have paid the same amount a year ago in january 2020.

I remember surplus cases of .308 and 5.56 for $129 and battle packs for $30. I also remember being told in about 2007 or so that the supply was about to dry up, buy it now. Sure enough, the price made a big jump almost overnight...to maybe $189/case.

I sold some old .223 to a friend the other day that was desperate for some ammo. I told him, shoot very slowly.

Fuck this timeline, I want to go back. |

The federal black packs were peak ammo deals
I need to punch myself for ignoring the .223 packs. |

I never really mag dumped like that. I always thought it stupid and wasteful. The current situation still sucks.

Whats even more fucked is this is probably only the begging.
Just wait until we're paying $3/round for 556. And then $6, and then poof. |

Pfffftttt. It's 1983 and you just bought a MG-42 and a tripod mount for $4500.

With factories making as much ammo as they can and people generally having less disposable income due to the covid recession eventually supply will have to catch up with demand, no?
